Fletcher’s Paint Works and Storage Facility Superfund Site Milford, New Hampshire Watermark prepared a Remedial Investigation (RI) Report for Operable Unit 2 (OU2) at the Fletcher’s Paint Works and Storage Facility Superfund Site. The Site was officially listed on the National Priorities List (NPL) by the USEPA on March 31, 1989, as a result of investigations related to the 1984 closure of the Keyes Municipal Supply Well. Fuel Systems Repairs

U.S. Coast Guard Station Burlington, Vermont Watermark completed paving and fuel system repairs at U.S. Coast Guard Station Burlington to address damage from Hurricane Irene.  The work included removal and disposal of existing dispenser building including dispenser, pump, hose reel, piping, and disconnection of utilities for future reuse.  Also, removal and disposal of existing fuel house including 1,600 gallon diesel fuel tank, concrete tank supports, concrete foundation, concrete containment, and all associated piping and electrical wiring. Former Brunswick Naval Air Station Brunswick, Massachusetts Watermark provided year-round caretaker services for the Navy at the Former Naval Air Station (NAS) Brunswick located in Brunswick, ME.  Watermark was responsible for performing service and emergency trouble calls, utility locating services and gas free testing. Wastewater Discharge Sampling and Reporting

Food Manufacturing Facility Northeast, Massachusetts Watermark provided wastewater discharge sampling, reporting and permitting services for the facility’s discharge permit compliance program. The project required close coordination with the City’s Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW).  Sampling was comprised of both grab and composite samples, utilizing an ISCO Auto Sampler and conducted on a monthly basis in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Industrial User Wastewater Discharge Permit.  Watermark reviewed analytical results and compared them to acceptable discharge concentrations. Groundwater Treatment Plant Operations and Maintenance

Fortune 500 Company Watermark was awarded a contract to provide licensed industrial wastewater treatment operators (Grade 4I) and additional support staff as necessary for the Operation &Maintenance, Long Term Monitoring, and optimization of the on-site groundwater and soil remediation system.  This project involved active groundwater and soil vapor extraction and on-site physical/chemical treatment to remove contaminants from groundwater and soil prior to discharging to the stormwater system. Groundwater Treatment Plant Operations and Maintenance

Silresim Superfund Site Lowell, Massachusetts Watermark was awarded a contract to monitor contaminated groundwater and to perform Operations & Maintenance (O&M) at the groundwater treatment plant (GWTP) at the Silresim Superfund Site. Watermark’s personnel have been involved at this challenging site since the GWTP was designed and constructed in 1994.  The source area was approximately 4 acres in size and contaminated with non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPLs) consisting of many types of organic solvents. Canalway Development

Western Canal Lowell, Massachusetts Watermark was awarded a contract by the City of Lowell, in cooperation with the National Park Service, involving the development of the Western Canalway.  Work involved the demolition of existing canal wall features, storm drainage system repairs, civil and structural modifications, and the installation of new site features.  The project included new concrete retaining walls, a structural steel supported boardwalk, brick and paved walkways, lighting, and landscaping.  Work also involved the fabrication and installation of a historically correct reproduction of a canal fence along the entire work area.  Site lighting was also fabricated to be consistent…
