Watermark Recognized for Health and Safety Program

Million Work Hours Award America's safest companiesWatermark is pleased to announce that it has been the recent recipient of two prestigious awards for superior health and safety performance.
Watermark has been named one of EHS Today Magazine’s 2014 America’s Safest Companies.To be considered one of America’s Safest Companies, organizations must demonstrate:  support from management and employee involvement; innovative solutions to safety challenges; injury and illness rates lower than the average for their industries; comprehensive training programs; evidence that prevention of incidents is the cornerstone of the safety process; good communication about the value of safety; and a way to substantiate the benefits of the safety process.  Several past winners include B.L. Harbert International, L.L.C; Bechtel Corporation; Bell Helicopter Textron Inc.; Caterpillar Inc.; Delta Air Lines, Inc.; Fluor Corporation; General Electric Company; Lockheed Martin Corporation; and URS Corporation.Additionally, Watermark has attained the National Safety Council Million Work Hours Award for operating 1,000,000 employee hours without an occupational injury or illness resulting in days away from work.These are great milestones that have been reached as a result of the diligent efforts of all Watermark employees present and past.
